Last Friday the New York Rangers acquired enforcer Jody Shelley from the San Jose Sharks. If you can’t already tell from the awesome name, an enforcer is the coolest position in hockey and their contribution is obvious when you take a look at the stat sheet… In 137 games for the Sharks Shelley scored a total of three goals, 11 assists and spent 285 minutes in the penalty box.
A couple of those minutes came courtesy of the video above from a game early last week against the Maple Leafs. Despite having the much more feminine name Shelley was able to drop Colton Orr with a hard right. Orr’s no pushover though, and in fear of him coming to the SportsBore offices and beating the shit out of us for making him look like a pussy we’ve added an Orr delivered ass-beating after the jump.
