The Stanley Cup Finals got under way last week and once again SportsCenter missed out on the highlights casual fans like myself most wanted to see. Two Vancouver fans payed homage to one of the greatest silver screen productions since M*A*S*H by harassing each Kings player that earned a trip to the penalty box. Possibly more funny than the act itself was the broadcast teams complete disregard for the awesomeness that was taking place. Apparently two guys dressed head-to-toe in green spandex straddling the penalty box isn’t worth mentioning… The teams are knotted at 1-1 in the series which continues tonight in LA.
