Tiger to Leave Golf “Indefinitely”

Author: Stretch

in·def·i·nite

adj.

Not definite, especially:
a. Unclear; vague.
b. Lacking precise limits: an indefinite leave of absence.
c. Uncertain; undecided: indefinite about their plans.

So how long is “indefinitely” in the case of Tiger’s return to golf? Some believe he’ll return at The Masters in early May. Some believe he’ll return for The Memorial Tournament, which is Jack’s tournament and one that Tiger has had a lot of success in. Still others think he might wait until The Open Championship at St. Andrew’s in July.
All of this conjecture is making my head explode.
Why would Tiger take that much time off? I understand if he misses the first couple of tournaments to spend time with family, but how much time do you need? What are Tiger Woods, Elin and their two children going to do for 4, 5 even 6 months without golf? Seriously, imagine the Woods’ family without golf, how ridiculous is that?
Tiger is in the prime of his career and he needs to capitalize on the moment. If he sincerely wants to save his marriage and family he can still do so on tour. What is an extra 6 months going to do? Nothing. Fixing this requires two, simple things. One, be sincere and humble to media, fans, etc. Two, don’t fuck anymore whores. Instead of taking a 15-minute fame-whore to your room, go home by yourself and beat off like every other normal guy.
I hope Tiger shows up on Tour in Feb/Mar at the latest and fights through this early rather than later. Sure, everybody is different, but I can’t imagine anybody needs 6 months to fix a marriage. The reality for Tiger is that it’s going to take him a lifetime to fix that marriage.
When do you think Tiger should/will return to golf?
