Shaun Rogers Arrested for gun Possession… In an Airport

Author: Junior

(“I don’t know Steve, he doesn’t look like an al-Qaeda…”)

There Cleveland was, having their best off season since re-joining the league in 1999. The organization was able to retain Joshua Cribbs, the best player on Cleveland’s roster, which is sad (he’s a punt returner). Joshua is a huge asset in the field possession game and usually sets the Browns’ offense up to go three-and-out from closer to the end zone than they would be otherwise. Cleveland was also able to unload Brady Quinn to the Broncos. Not certain Jake Delhomme is the answer but at least the guys in the locker room can be more comfortable hitting the showers next season. Even got a cherry on top for ya Cleveland… no one’s killed anyone yet (looking at you Donte…), Yahtzee!

Well break out your umbrellas Clevelanders because the shit storm’s making its way back around! At around 12:15 PM today Pro Bowl defensive lineman Shaun Rogers was stopped in Hopkins International Airport with a .45-caliber hand gun in his carry on. So much for learning from others mistakes. An arrest was made “without incident” and Sgt. Sammy Morris reported Rogers remained in the city’s jail throughout the evening.

We’ll keep you posted as the news comes in!
