The most interesting man on the Minnesota Vikings roster is not Brett Favre or Adrien Peterson… It’s actually Jared Allen.  Allen is an all-pro defensive-end and overall crazy motherfucker. At 6’6″ 270 lbs Allen is big, but it’s not his physical prowess that makes him the most interesting Viking of the bunch.

As a youngster Jared competed in rodeos, calf roping contests and steer riding events in his hometown of Los Gatos, California. He currently has 3 riding horses and plans on getting into steer wrestling after his NFL career. Allen is also an avid sportsman and hunter (watch him earn some man-points spearing an Elk after the jump).

Allen also likes to party. He’s been arrested for DUI 3 times. He claims he doesn’t drink anymore but we all know that’s bullshit. He still drinks, he just doesn’t drink and drive anymore. Allen also enjoys jiu jitsu and has aspirations of entering the Octagon someday when his NFL career is over. In addition to the aforementioned talents, Allen is also hilarious and a huge proponent of the mullet. Any guy who makes over $3 million a season and rocks a mullet is certifiable in our books.w

We just hope the Vikings can continue their run so we can get more of #69′s classic sound-bites and YouTube moments.
