The Commissioner of the NBA, David Stern, has suspended Gilbert Arenas indefinitely, saying that Arenas is “not currently fit to take the court”. This of course is because of the way Arenas has been handling himself after the old-west-like draw that ended with Arenas and a teammate pulling guns on each other. The ironic part about Stern’s comments are that since this incident, Arenas’ stats have gotten better. Points are up, assists are up, rebounds are up, and even Wizard victories are up. He hasn’t been this fit to play all season. This got the Bore thinking, if Stern is going to suspend players for being “unfit”, who else should be forced to take a seat?
1. Eddy Curry.
By all accounts, the most unfit player in the NBA. Not since Tractor Trailer and Shawn Kemp retired has there been a player more likely to dent the court or (literally) weigh down an entire team, in this case the NY Knicks.
2. Juwan Howard.
The Portland Trailblazers’ starting center is 90 years old. It can’t be healthy to allow someone this old to bang bodies with Dwight Howard. I don’t see this ending well for his knees, his hips, or the Trailblazers… Actually Howard is only 36, about to turn 37, but put it this way: he played for the Washington Wizards when they were still called the Bullets.
3. NJ Nets.
After playing 34 games this season, the Nets have won a whopping 3. That is a .088 win percentage. Even the Timberwolves have 7 wins, double the amount won by the Nets. They started out the season 0-18 (an all-time worst) and haven’t improved much from there. If ever there was a team unfit to play, it was the Nets.
4. Zach Randolph
The easy cheap-shot for the 4th spot on the “unfit to play” list would be Zach Randolph, for many of the same reasons that Eddy Curry gets top honors. Except Randolph has turned it around this year for the Grizzlies. Averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds, Randolph is a huge reason (no pun intended) for their early success. Anyway, Mr. Stern, all of these players are equally unfit to play, and believe me, no one would care if you asked them to take a break as well.

Randolph represents the big men well! Curry on the other hand…
Hilarious post! what a great angle! You should add Chuck Hayes… have you ever seen that guy shoot a free-throw? HHAHAHA
Great fight! Lovely to see Penn headkick Sanchez’s forehead open
