UFC 112 lifted off from Abu Dhabi last night and was supposed to be one of the greatest events in UFC history. Unfortunately the card turned bust when middleweight king-pin Anderson Silva spent his championship bout clowning the best available contender, Demian Maia, with wild dancing and verbal assaults. I’m not particularly sensitive to trash talk, I even like it a little bit, but Anderson was sure to piss off everyone in the arena and and at home by refusing to engage for the last two rounds and even hiding behind roid mongling ref Dan Miragliotta at one point.
