Pacquiao Beats Cotto – Final Round TKO

Author: Stretch

Pacquiao vs cotto

Miguel “Angel” Cotto was no match for Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The fight was competitive for the first 3 rounds and it appeared Cotto matched-up well against the Filipino striker. However in the 4th round Pacquiao seized control of the fight and began a 9 round facial that left Cotto beaten to a pulp. Cotto proved he’s a world-class tough guy for refusing to quit, but he was out-classed by Pacquiao most of the night.

The win gives Pac-Man his 7th title belt and legendary status. Discussion about Pacquiao’s legacy now includes names like Henry Armstrong, Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali (ESPN’s Top 50 Greatest Boxers of All Time). With all the accomplishments and all the accolades there is still one fight Pac-Man must take before he can truly be considered one of the top boxers of all time… and that fight is with Floyd Mayweather Jr. “Pretty Boy” is an undefeated 40-0 and arguably the biggest draw in boxing today.

Pacquiao and Mayweather have fought several of the same opponents and the entire boxing world wants to see this fight happen. Many believe Pacquiao vs. Mayweather could be the biggest PPV draw in history and we certainly hope the two negotiate something and make it happen. All we can do now is cross our fingers and hope they negotiate a deal and make the fight happen. In the meantime your welcome for the $500 gift.
