Thursday night, after Alabama had sealed a BCS National Championship win against Texas, Nick Saban received the most intense Gatorade Bath since the tradition started. The tradition began with the New York Giants football team in the mid-80s. According to several sources, including Jim Burt of the Giants, it began on October 28, 1985, when Burt performed the action on Bill Parcells after being angered over the coach’s treatment of him that week.
Satan… er Saban… is tough on his players and Thursday night he got a taste of his own medicine. Most Gatorade Showers are pretty tame. Players sneak up on their coach and pour the bucket over the coaches head, laugh and hug afterward. In this case the Alabama players bum-rushed their coach and threw the bucket at his head.
Of course it was all in good fun and Coach Saban didn’t mind, considering they just won a National Championship, but there’s still a good chance a couple of Bama players might be running extra sprints during winter conditioning drills this year.

I’m glad, Saben is a dickkkkkkk it seems like!!
