We’ve always assumed that Chuck Hayes had the worst free throw shot in competitive basketball, and on a consistent basis that’s probably true, but for at least one trip to the line Kansas’ Brady Morningstar was on his level.

Morningstar, who claimed that the ball was wet, shot the rock a couple feet in the air, caught it himself and then launched from the line to shoot again. Kansas coach Bill Self had this to say about the shot after the game:

“My sub was smart. That’ll be an ESPN top 10 for the next six months.”

Self promotion at it’s finest. But it’s the bottom 10 coach, bottom 10…
