Coaches blowing up in post-game press conferences are one of YouTube’s greatest assets. Every time a coach screams and shouts in front of cameras ESPN plasters the hot mess all over SportsCenter, and if your name isn’t Bob Knight the screams and gyrations will probably define your career.

This is my favorite post-game blow up of all because the risk/reward was terribly evaluated, or perhaps ignored completely. Jim Mora and Bob Knight can get away with a few unflattering press clippings, but a women’s college basketball coach should probably leave that fire in the locker room… It’s kind of like how we all moved on when Shaq slugged Brad Miller (or tried) in a game because he went on to become a 4-time NBA Champion, but Elizabeth Lambert will unfortunately always be that crazy psycho that punched an opponent no matter what she accomplishes in women’s soccer. In a similar way Kevin Borseth will always be the women’s b-ball coach that flipped out aimlessly for two minutes about boxing out and gaining weight. I also love the clip because it seems to dawn on coach Borseth at the very end that he shouldn’t have done what he just did, and maybe he won’t have a job in the morning, “I’m not going to sleep.”

Look for more outrageous coach clippings in the near future!
