We’ve finally reached the Final Four and your bracket’s busted up like a Vegas hooker. Three Midwest Cinderellas and one power-house remain and they’ll begin to sort things out this Saturday in Indianapolis.
The lone remaining one-seed Duke Blue Devils face a gritty West Virginia squad that just bounced SportsBore favorite John Wall and his Kentucky team. On the other side of the bracket Butler and Michigan State face each other in a battle of five seeds. If Butler and Duke advance it will be the most caucasian championship since those dudes from Glory Road broke down the color barrier, plus it’d be the second most lopsided championship match-up I’ve ever seen.
There’s also no doubt CBS is praising the basketball gods for getting the Blue Devils past Baylor last night, and despite hating Duke along with the rest of the country I’ve got to admit, I’m pretty happy about it too. Do I want to see Duke win their 4th championship running through West Virginia and Butler? No. But watching three Cinderella’s trying to knock off a Goliath is certainly better than watching four Cinderella’s playing each other for a championship… I’ve already seen that song and dance, it’s called the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament. Take Duke out of this thing and suddenly March Madness is less riveting than Curling.
I just hope they put a mat below the ladder while coach K cuts the net down… just in case.

For the record, I know West Virginia is a two seed but no one had them making it to the final four, especially without Pittsnogle in the lineup…
good stuff!!! LOL @ coach K’s narcolepsy, never saw that, AWESOME
